Content for v2.9.9

The main thrust of this update is to revamp large sections of the game's main intro. Specifically, this is aimed at pulling the quality of the art and the density of the art, up to the standard that I'm aiming for the entire game.

In total, this means adding around 90 new art pieces to the game, with most of them being spread out across the game's intro section. Because of the size of the revamp, I've decided to release the current progress of it, rather than wait until the entire revamp is complete. My hope is that with one more update, I can complete the remainder of the intro-revamp and have the entire intro-section up to the new quality standard.

The main reason for focussing on this intro-revamp is because a lot of story-branches have more and better art in the later sections. By redesigning the intro, new players are instantly able to experience the quality and quantity of the art that I hope to have present throughout the game.

How to get to the content

Concretely, the following sections have received new or improved art:

1) The immediate intro, Sarah arriving home.
2) The immediate intro, death of the King
3) The arrival of Jaeid at court
4) A few pieces along the Tribes route
5) A few additional pieces towards the end of the Warrior-Route

So simply replaying these sections should offer up the new art.

Other Development News

Writing on the game has been coming along quite well. One of the major storylines is nearly complete, and I've made progress along the other major storylines as well.

My current estimate is that I will be able to be story/script complete by the end of this year. I'm quite excited for that moment, because that means that at that point, no matter what happens, the game will be able to be completed. It will only be a matter of art-production at that point.
