I found the game recently and I'm in love. I've zeroed almost all routes so far. I just can't find the route of the nameless tribe and Lady Carolyn.

I couldn't find that scene either. Which route would it be?

Great to read that you liked it! As for those particular routes:

Itch.io always run about 1-2 updates behind on the the Patreon version, so while there are now scenes with Lady Carolyn, they are not yet in this version, but they will be in the next public update (which I hope to release in about 2 weeks).

As for nameless tribesman, that one is a bit more particular, you can reach it by doing the following:

[WARNING SPOILERS]

1) Play through the start, stay in the country, do not leave with Kate.

2) Make poor decisions in preparing for the attack by the horde.

3) When the emissary shows up, decide to kill him (this is important).

Now when the story continues, the war is lost and Sarah is captured. Instead of the emissary saving her, she is taken captive by "nameless" tribesmen.

As for the image in the picture, that one is also rather particular:

1) Play through the soldier story

2) Reach the scene where Sarah is resting in the throne room in Bagrad. Kate will approach, do not invite her to your room. After that, Samayra will be brought out, do not rescue her. After that, you are given a choice to meet a nameless soldier, male or female. The included image is a random male soldier.

Hope that helps!

How do you make sure that you have finished all the routes?

Thank you for the kind and positive message! Reading that people are enjoying the game is something I never get tired of.

Mixing a (hopefully) good story with erotic content is definitely one of my main goals! I think if it works out well, those two elements can really reinforce one another.

And thank you for the suggestions. You're right, I try to update the page with each new update, adding some more illustrations to reflect all the available content, but there is definitely so much more in the game itself than is reflected now on the page. A sign of a newbie developer haha.

It was great to read that you've already enjoyed what is available and I hope you'll consider sticking around for all the future updates as the game continues to expand!

Wow! I'm loving this so much! I just slept with Varga (so hot!) But I was surprised that it was only a black background during that scene. I'm guessing the nsfw scenes are just for paetron? Varga is so romantic I really hope he stays that way :D Just awesome so far I had to comment.

Great to hear you're enjoying the currently available content! As for your specific point, it's true that some scenes are currently only black screens. This is done as a way of trying to show the player that there will eventually be artwork for those scenes, but that it's not there yet. Having said that, there should be particular scenes where there is art involving Sarah/Varga, currently in this version.

So as development continues, over time, those black screens should slowly become more and more rare.

And as for Varga, don't worry, his character is very honest and he's exactly what he pretends to be. What you see is what you get with him.

Hope you'll stay a fan as development continues!

Oh ok :) Yes playing further I found them! I'm surprised at how different the paths can be, in a good way! I was so sad when I got to Atillas end path. The thief was one of my favs though! Can't wait to see where his will go. Also Jaeid caught my interest! Just a phenomenal job so far! Keep it up :D

This is a page-turner, and I am about to go throw money at your Patreon page.  The biggest criticism I can give is that the visuals/audio are unfinished, but I appreciate a game that lets those take a backseat to story development, rather than vice-versa.
The thing I enjoy most so far, is the difficulty of the choices presented. They all seem to have serious consequences, and it makes me put thought into each one. I get the sense they'll actually influence the story.   It also helps that the writing is both descriptive and expedient; I'm not skipping entire pages that bog down the story instead of helping it.

Thank you for the positive feedback and your promise of support, both are greatly appreciated!

You raise some good points regarding the visuals, especially in the regular scenes I think there is a lot more in terms of quality that I could wrench out by making scenes/characters feel more dynamic, I think they can sometimes feel a bit too static now.

Audio is another entire dimension that I know could add a lot, but sadly in terms of balancing my resources/time, audio is just something that has sadly been pushed back, though I am considering production on at least a main-theme for the game, but that's all in a very early-idea stage.

What characters are you able to be with atm?

In this version there are scenes featuring:

- Varga
- Atilla
- Caleb
- Ephraim
- Belmont
- Alaric
- Kate
- Razaphel
- Nameless tribesman

Version 0.15 (which is not yet available here) includes one new female character, Samayra.

Thanks love!

Are there any scenes you have planned for character already in the game like Thomas or any one on the council?

No problem.

And yes, there are characters currently in the game that will eventually feature in scenes, for example Lady Carolyn from the council will definitely feature in a scene in a future update.

There will be no scenes with Thomas though, that type of content won't feature in the game at all.

Is it better to support you through Patreon or through itch?

Patreon is usually best. Itch > Paypal can be difficult for nsfw-content sometimes, whereas with Patreon it's no issue at all. It also gives direct access to the most recent updates regarding the development, so I think it also offers something in return to those that wish to support the project.

how do we get razaphel

(+1)

Razaphel would be:

Intro > Leave with Kate > Don't join the mercenaries > Scream when confronted by the bandit.

After that it more or less becomes obvious.

thanks!

This isn't exactly a bug report or an actually criticism, but so far I noticed there is only one lesbian option and not only is it a manipulative drunkard, but it also forces me to leave my brother behind. Considering the only erotic screenshot on this page is lesbian it maybe might be a good idea to give more clear options for girl on girl? So far I'm really liking the story of staying at the castle, but am turned off (literally) by being forced to choose between a himbo and a snob. The Kate route also has a lot of positives that go beyond the killer sex scenes, for example I loved the way you write action. If there IS a lesbian route at home please fill me in, otherwise I will follow the project and support it as updates come out. Keep up the great work.

Thanks for reaching out to me, and I'm happy that there are parts of the project you're really enjoying! As for your comment:

It's true that the current version on Itch.io only features one lesbian route with one character, however, the most recent version (v0.15) on Patreon features another lesbian-route with a different character, so there will definitely be more options in that regard. As for that version, there is of course some lag between when I release on Patreon and when I release on Itch.io, but it will come in the future.

(Here is a preview image of a non-Kate, lesbian route, on the mage-route though).

As for lesbian-routes that don't require you to leave Thomas, those are also already in the work. As of right now, there are 2-lesbian routes being worked on that revolve around Sarah staying with her brother. So in the future, it will definitely be possible to also play the route where you stay, as lesbian.

I've written about it before somewhere else, but it's absolutely a promise of mine to allow players to play a lesbian-only playthrough for all of the major-story routes, from start to finish.

How to get ship captain third scene

That would be:

Leave with Kate > Negotiate down with the captain (only Sarah) > Join the mercenaries > Ask to be trained by Caleb/Ephraim.

That should trigger that (optional) side story. I'm working on making that path more obvious/accessible in the future, but for now that is how you can access it.

Hey.
I just finished the 'stay in the castle' playthrough. Not what I thought I'd find, a little rough around the edges, but it was a really good experience.

Lots of spelling errors [I know that can't be news] and there's a bug it seems where the spy master speaks in the council meetings, his name shows up as 'Kate,' so I half expected Kate to be a shapeshifter xD

At the very beginning, the story was kinda choppy, but the amount of detail you got into later on in the game, it was artistic, in a way even some of the best Itch games don't quite match. Almost felt like two completely different authors.

This is awesome, keep it up!

Thank you for your comment and I'm glad to read that you enjoyed what is currently available.

You're right about the bug, that one was spotted quite soon after release and will be fixed by the next release. As for the spelling, that will remain a constant effort, purely as a result of the sheer size of the script, but luckily with each edit they become fewer and fewer.

It's all one author though, so I'll take credit for the good and the bad haha.

But I hope you'll consider exploring the other possible playthroughs and I hope you'll remain interested to see how the project develops over the comings months.

Absolutely, I'm already dipping into the runaway route, just finished my training with Atilla.

Hey, if you'd care for a second hand to help go through the script, might have to walk me through how to get started, but I'd be glad to help you out there, just to get my feet wet in this stuff. I've been wanting to build my own project for a while, and the experience would help out a lot

Thank you for the offer, but right now I've only just launched and I'm still getting the hang of the whole production > update cycle. I'm afraid working together with other people right now isn't something I'm ready for.

Having said that, I can absolutely recommend just diving into it by yourself. Ren'Py is a surprisingly accessible and functional tool for building a visual novel. With just a few days of messing around and watching YouTube tutorials, you can get something off the ground.
